Meet Apostle Dr. Fuller

Meet the senior Pastor of Word of Life Tabernacle Nondenominational Church, Incorporated and the Founder of the International Ministerial Fellowship of Churches (IMFC).

Apostle Dr. Michael Fuller was called into the Gospel ministry at the age of 18 years old and preached his first introductory sermon in June of 1981 and served in his local church until He went into military service July 1984.  He served in the US Army and was sent to the Chaplaincy school in Ft. Monmouth, NJ to train as a Chaplain’s Assistant. He was stationed at Ft. Stewart, GA from 1984 – 1989 and spent the remainder of his military service in Germany from 1989 – 1992. During his time in Europe the Lord began to speak to him about his future ministry. The Lord gave him the name “Word of Life” which is the name of the church today. He was appointed as Assistant Pastor of the Babenhausen Germany Gospel Service from 1990 – 1992 under the leadership of Pastor Larry Herron. The Lord sent him and his family back to Fayetteville, NC with a vision to launch a ministry work. In October 1994, the Word of Life Tabernacle became a reality with a Kingdom mandate to set the captives free.

Apostle Fuller’s academic qualifications coupled with the anointing of the Holy Spirit equips him for the great task of establishing the purpose of the church in the community and the world. He recognized a vision to become more effective and positioned for Kingdom purpose and therefore began pursuing higher levels of learning and education. Apostle Fuller took business courses with the University of Maryland, Chaplaincy training courses while in the military.  He earned his Associates of Applied Science degrees both in Business Administration and Marketing and Retailing from Fayetteville Technical Community College, studied at Carolina Bible College earning his Associates of Biblical Studies, Certificate in Counseling, Richardson Certificate, and completed several courses toward his Bachelor’s in Biblical Studies at Carolina Bible College.  He also served as the first Director of Correspondence at Carolina Bible College in Fayetteville, NC for 10 years under Dr. Phil Stam, President. Apostle Fuller was led to further his studies at Fayetteville State University where is earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.  He worked as a Human Resources Intern for the Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Medical Center on Ramsey Street while in School.  Upon graduation he was hired in the Human Resources Management Services where he worked up the ranks to a GS-12 in the Federal Government. He retired in February of 2022, as a Senior Staffing/Recruitment Specialist and Consultant, with the Human Resources Management Services, Department of Veterans Affairs, Fayetteville Coastal Healthcare System, Fayetteville, North Carolina. Apostle Fuller was still pursuing his academic studies and graduated December 2022 from the Bible Institute of America Theological Seminary with dual degrees: Master of Theology, Doctor of Theology, Doctorate (PH.D.) of Christian Counseling, and received the Salutatorian Award for his graduation class. Apostle Dr. Michael Fuller’s favorite saying is: “Little becomes much when you put it in the master’s hand.”  To God be the glory for all that He is doing in His humble servant.
